Founding Account Executive (Remote LATAM)

Drive new business for Zavu across Latin America, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You'll be the first AE hire in the region.

About the role

Zavu is building the communication layer for the Agent-Native Economy. Through a single API, we unify channels like SMS, WhatsApp, voice, email, and 4+ additional global channels — so developers, companies, and no-coders can deploy AI agents across every available channel in minutes, using modern development tools.

We're hiring our Founding Account Executive. You'll own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, and close. You'll be responsible for sourcing, prioritizing, and closing SMB, mid-market, and enterprise clients across LATAM, the US, and globally — Zavu has no borders, and inbound leads come from everywhere. You'll work directly with the founders and have a direct line to product.

This is an individual contributor role with a clear path to Sales Lead as the team grows.

What you'll do

  • Own a pipeline of 20–40 active opportunities at any time
  • Prospect and qualify leads via LinkedIn, cold email, and warm intros
  • Run product demos tailored to each prospect's stack
  • Collaborate with the founders on deal strategy for enterprise accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in our CRM
  • Provide weekly forecasts and competitive intelligence

Target customers

  • Companies deploying AI agents that need multi-channel communication (SMS, WhatsApp, voice, email)
  • SaaS and developer tool companies building agent-powered workflows
  • E-commerce and fintech platforms automating customer interactions across channels
  • Agencies and no-code builders shipping AI agents for their clients

Who we're looking for

  • 1–4 years of B2B sales experience — ideally SaaS or developer tools, but we value hunger over pedigree
  • Comfortable with technical products — you don't need to code, but you should be curious about APIs, integrations, and how developers work
  • Strong communicator — you can explain complex products in simple terms. Spanish fluency is expected; English proficiency is a plus
  • Self-starter — you manage your own calendar, build your own pipeline, and hit your numbers without hand-holding
  • LATAM-based — existing relationships in the startup/tech ecosystem are a plus, not a requirement

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to developers or engineering teams
  • Previous experience at an early-stage startup
  • Familiarity with CPaaS, messaging, or API products
